Jakarta (30/1) - As part of a series of event for its 12th anniversary, Banks Syariah Mandiri has organized an event called “BSM Leader Vision”. This event consisted of panel discussion which was held on January 28 and January 29 at the University of Indonesia.
The president Director of BSM, Yuslam Fauzi said that the event “BSM Leader Vision” is collaboration with student’s movement to unite the vision of Indonesia for the better future.
Today, Indonesia is trying to put together its optimism for the future to come, which Indonesia is considered to be a strong Nation, in which Indonesia needs manpower who has the vision and a mission of a strong leadership.
Therefore BSM perceived that it has some interests and responsibility to development the youth in this era especially students which has the characteristic of willingness to sacrifice for the good caused, we think those kind of people who are willing to do things for the good caused are very potential to become a good leader of Indonesia in the future,” said Yuslam to pkesinteraktif.com.
Furthermore, Islam said that BSM Leader Vision is part of the effort to search for shariah human capital which is inadequate for our Islamic banking system.
“Indirectly, this event is not a recruitment process, but more toward searching for the next leader, there is no need for them to become shariah bankers, yet it is imperative to implement their visions ahead,”exclaimed Yuslam.
In that even, there was a signing MoU between BSM and Forum Silahturahmi Studi Ekonomi Islam (Fossei), in which BSM will act as a Fasilitator and a Donator for some activities of Fossei. (ul)
