BNI Syariah increased its Profit up to 167 % |

Jakarta (18/11). Bank Negara Indonesia- Shariah division (BNI Syariah) in the third quarter of 2008 has an increment of its profit for IDR 34 Billions or about 167% compare to 2007, which was only IDR 12.7 billions.
 Based on BNI syariah annual report, its income growth to 77%, with the net income of IDR 256 billions, margin earning is IDR 154 billion and profit-sharing income is IDR 61 billions, income from gifts/bonuses is IDR 9.8 billions, other operating income is IDR 30.7.billions. In comparison with last year, the operating income of BNI syariah was IDR 144 billions, where margin earning was IDR 87.7 billions and profit-sharing income was IDR 30.6 billions, gifts/bonuses was IDR 10.1 billions and other operating income was IDR 15.8 billions. This significant growth is foreseen by the increase of the third party funds mobilizations, which up until now, is about IDR 2.27 trillions, has increased by IDR 988 billions compare to last year which was only IDR 1.2 trillions. The asset has been increased by 84%, which reached IDR 3.7 trillions, compare to last year which was only IDR trillions. BNI Syariah will become a full-fledge Islamic Bank by 2009.
