Muslims generally believe that revelation of the Qur'an occurred in two phases, with the first phase being the revelation in its entirety on Laylat Al-Qadr and then the subsequent verse-by-verse revelation to Muhammad by the angel Gabriel (Jibril in Arabic).Bank Syariah Mandiri were hosting the i’tikaf (this is particularly commended pious Islamic practice consisting of a period of retreat in a mosque, for a certain number of days in accordance with the believer's own wish. one should stay with the intention to worship Allah by praying formal or informal prayers although prayer is not a condition therein. The theme of I’tikaf Ramadhan was: “Bangun Peradaban Islam Dengan Spiritual Ramadhan” (improving Islamic culture with the Ramadhan Spirit). This event of i’tikaf was participated by the employees of BSM and some jammah tabliq (way fayer) from other provinces. All participants were doing the religious activities such as dzikir (reciting the name of Allah and praise his name as the most merciful, the all mighty), and reciting the Holly Al-Quran. BSM Refused to Provide Financing Without Collateral
Jakarta (26/8) the new regulation of Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR)/micro financing for the amount of IDR 20 million without collateral is not unanimously agreed by Islamic bankers. Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) refused to facilitate financing without collateral, as explained by Andri Vendredi Subardi, head of micro-financing program of BSM, he said that the bank will be at high risk to distribute financing without collateral.
