Jakarta (14/12) - Bank Indonesia (BI) has predicted that Islamic banks assets in Indonesia to reach IDR 200 Trillion at the end 2012. This assets growth will be followed by the increment of Financing and Deposits as well.

Tangerang, (1/12)- to cater the need of Islamic finance development in Indonesia, there is a need accelerate the market share, which perceived to be a positive influence for further development of Islamic banking in Indonesia.

As according to the chairman of Asosiasi Bank Syariah Indonesia (ASBISINDO), A Riawan Amin there should be 2 things that need to be observed for the acceleration Islamic banks in Indonesia. First of all, Islamic full fledge banks or Islamic banking units of conventional bank should utilize the infrastructure of its parent companies.
