Jakarta (24/10)- Ikatan Ahli Ekonomi Islam (IAEI) has a commitment to develop Indonesian Model of Islamic Finance, as explained by the chairman of IAEI, Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro during the inauguration IAEI organizing committee last Friday, (21/10).
Furthermore Bambang said the Indonesia model of Islamic finance characterized by the development of microfinance, infrastructure financing, and retail sukuk issuance, which in the long run will create financial freedom.
“IAEI will develop Indonesian model of Islamic Finance which will focus on microfinance and retail sukuk, which we hope to be the prime islamic finance product in Indonesia” explained Bambang.
In the meantime, IAEI has a commitment to improve the quality and quantity of our shariah human capital.
“For the shariah human capital issue, we will coordinate with the Department of National Education for increasing the number of higher learning institutions and improving its curriculum, exclaimed Bambang. (ul)
